RSS Early Career Spotlight Award 2026

I am honored to have received the RSS Early Career Spotlight Award 2026, a distinction presented by the Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) Foundation to recognize outstanding early-career researchers in robotics.

As part of this recognition, I was invited to deliver a Spotlight Talk at Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) 2026, held in Sydney, Australia, on 14 July 2026.

RSS is widely regarded as one of the world's premier robotics conferences, featuring a highly selective double-blind review process, a single-track program, and bringing together many of the leading researchers in the field. Being selected for the Early Career Spotlight is therefore a significant honor and an excellent opportunity to present my research to the international robotics community.

This recognition reflects not only my work but also the contributions of the many students, collaborators, and colleagues I have had the privilege to work with over the years. I am particularly grateful to my mentors—Ruggero Carli, Antonio Franchi, Roland Siegwart, and Paolo Robuffo Giordano—as well as to the institutions that have supported my career: the University of Padova, LAAS-CNRS, ETH Zürich, and Inria Centre at Rennes University.

I sincerely thank the RSS Foundation and the RSS community for this recognition, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to advancing aerial robotics, aerial manipulation, and physical interaction.
